Dorothy Tsitouras
Managing Director
Dorothy has spent the past 35 years turning 2001 Travel into one of the leading independent travel agents in London. She is a real travel enthusiast – with her formative years of working in the holiday industry overseas – before returning in 1983 when she formed 2001 Travel. She was determined to use her knowledge and experience in the business she loves for the benefit of all her clients.

Andry Sophocles
Director
Andry joined 2001 Travel in 1984 and is now a partner in the business. Andry has a passion for the travel industry and has travelled extensively allowing her to command a great knowledge of the travel world. She as vast experience in organising group holidays, as well as independent and tailormade itineraries and is always willing to assist.
“It was always my dream, as a little girl, to see the world. after trying other occupations this is where I have found my true passion and I pride myself in getting to know my clients and provide them excellent and personal customer service.”

Doug Lavis
General Manager
Doug has been working in the travel business for over 30 years. He has travelled extensively throughout the world and continues to do so, gaining more invaluable knowledge in the profession he loves. Doug has a vast knowledge of the travel industry but he specialises in corporate and special interest trips such as golf and bridge groups.
He also manages the day to day running of 2001 Travel office as our general manager. He enjoys transforming every enquiry from clients into wonderful holidays.
In his spare time, when not traveling the world, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, table tennis and bridge.

Katy Savvides
Over 35 years ago Katy started her career at a major tour operator, gaining the best grounding in travel that the industry had to offer. She specialised in business travel, qualified as a member of the Institute of Travel and Tourism and is now a Fellow of the Institute.
In addition she began teaching at evening classes and qualified as an NVQ assessor also training junior staff in the office with what were excellent results.
She propelled the business dept. of our agency into the Travel Trade Gazette top 100 business travel agents dealing with several blue chip companies and added a Conference and incentive travel division.
She took her first cruise in 1995 and has since taken over 40 ocean and river cruises of all levels, and has since become a member of the Cruise Experts association (CLIA) and achieved master status.
As well as business travel and taking cruises, Katy enjoys driving holidays, city breaks and tailor made trips and is eager to share her experiences when planning holiday for her customers.

Sue Asirwatham
Sue’s career in the travel covers all areas of the industry.
She started out working at Air Lanka, Sri Lankan Airlines for 6 years and joined a retail travel agency for a further 7 years. From there she moved to a tour operator for 4 years before returning to a retail travel agency and has since specialised in business travel.
She has also developed a special interest in South Asia holidays as well as ocean and river cruising, holy land escorted tours and holidays and has gained a wide expertise in all these sectors.
Her breadth of experience has enabled her to offer customers the best possible advice and service.
